At the Y, our mission is to support healthy, happy communities.
In line with the recent COVID-safety restrictions, we are committed to adhering to and implementing timely measures in our early learning, vacation care, youth and recreation services, to help keep our communities safe. These measures are line with the Northern Territory governments' latest health safety guidelines.
Temporary changes to our services in Katherine -
- Our Henry Scott Recreation Centre in Katherine (including our youth programs) and the Katherine Aquatic Centre are temporarily closed pending further government announcements.
&
- Our Early Learning centre (Little Mangoes) and Vacation Care services in Katherine remain open to essential workers only and comprehensive hygiene measures have been implemented across all centres.
Temporary changes to our service at Palmerston Youth Centre –
In line with recent NT government COVID-safety guidelines, our Palmerston Youth Centre is temporarily closed until further notice.

If you have come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19, have visited a COVID-19 exposure site in Katherine or experience COVID-19 symptoms, please immediately:
Self-isolate & Identify yourself as a potential close contact by calling the Northern Territory (NT) COVID hotline on 1800 490 484 & get tested immediately.
