Alice Springs Business at Sunset 2017

Article Date: 17/08/2017
On Wednesday 16th August the YMCA in Alice Springs hosted its first annual Business at sunset.

The fantastic new facility and services were proudly showcased to business owners & representatives in Alice Springs. The night was a great success, with a turn-out of nearly 100 business owners.

The team put on an excellent spread consisting of canapés, drinks & interactive rock-climbing. The activities were followed up by some memorable speeches from Kay Eade (Executive Officer, Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory) and Mrs Heidi McGrath (KRC facility coordinator). Community Advisory Committee member & board treasurer, Helen Williamson, spoke to the local business owners about opportunities within the Y to join the newly formed Community Advisory Committee (CAC) in Alice Springs.

The evening provided a great platform to re-introduce the fabulously renovated Kilgariff Recreation Centre (KRC) to the surrounding community and stands as a testament to all the hard work put in by the team in Alice Springs.
